Job Summary

Wemy Industries Limited is seeking an Engineering Graduate Trainee to support maintenance activities at its Ketu, Lagos operations. This entry-level role provides practical exposure to preventive, corrective, electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical maintenance while building safe and reliable engineering practices.

Responsibilities

Assist with scheduled preventive maintenance of equipment, utilities, and facility systems.
Support troubleshooting and corrective maintenance under the guidance of maintenance engineers or supervisors.
Inspect equipment, identify basic faults, and report maintenance needs promptly.
Help maintain maintenance logs, work orders, spare-parts records, and equipment documentation.
Participate in routine checks of electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical systems.
Observe safety procedures, use required protective equipment, and report unsafe conditions.
Support condition-monitoring activities and recommend issues for escalation.
Work with operations teams to minimize equipment downtime and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Recent graduate or entry-level candidate with interest in industrial or facility maintenance.
Basic understanding of preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance principles.
Foundational knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical equipment.
Ability to follow maintenance procedures, safety standards, and supervisor instructions.
Willingness to learn through hands-on work, technical coaching, and structured training.
Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to keep accurate records.
Ability to work onsite in Ketu, Lagos.
